BEST WESTERN Grand Palace Kemayoran Hotel is helping people in Jakarta, where heavy rains late last week caused devastating flooding.
BEST WESTERN Grand Palace Kemayoran Hotel is working in preparing to help those stranded by flooding. Starting at 10 am, teams went to first location of flood victims in Kebon Kosong, Central Jakarta. This location were stranded by flooding 4 days since the heavy rains came every day. BEST WESTERN Grand Palace Kemayoran Hotel donated packs of instants noodles, rices, biscuits, mineral waters, etc.
People in refugee were so excited and thanked the team sincerely.
The refugee was still inundated, team had to use a small boat in order to reach the refugee where the victims stay nights since flooding came. To transport all the food and donations and deliver them to the victims needs some boats.
Many children and elderly people stayed nights in the refugee due to flood hits their houses so high. the floods hit the location for about 6 days due to heavy rains.
incessant rain and high tides inundated several sub districts in some areas in Jakarta. though some areas had started to recede, some people chose to stay at the refugee because they are afraid going back to their house since Jakarta still have a high level of rains.
Local TV covered news thus the people will get attention from local governors, from the first day of flood people in Teluk Gong admitted that local governors haven't reached their place in order to load some helps.
